When Grandmaster KANG Shin-chul opened the class for questions, the last thing he expected from a 5 year-old was, "Can you show us what you can do…?". After peals of laughter from all in the room, the Grandmaster obligingly demonstrated some high impressive kicks, that wowed everyone. This was followed by some of our students performing their poomsae, and Grandmaster KANG providing some pointers on how they can improve.
Grandmaster KANG also conducted an impromptu session for our young Red belts and Poom belts, showing & guiding them the techniques for the front and side kick.
Grandmaster KANG Shin-chul from Korea, is world renowned for his fluid creative poomsae. A 9th Dan 'World Taekwondo Hall of Fame' inductee, Grandmaster KANG was also head coach for the Iran National Taekwondo team, playing an instrumental role in leading it to become the poomsae powerhouse that it is today.
The Grandmaster, along with Mrs. KANG and Mr. K. BAHRI, General-Secretary of WTTU (World Taekwondo Taedoo Union), definitely made it a Saturday that will be long remembered by all at INDUK Taekwondo.
