Passion - not Champions - that was what participation meant for Team INDUK at the recent 5th National Taekwondo Poomsae Championship held on 25th & 26th June, 2011. Whilst we fielded 36 entrants to the various categories and achieved 29 medals, including 3 golds - a stunning result by any standards, Team INDUK was proud to have planted the seeds of passion in taekwondo in not only our young aspiring students, but the many parents and supporters who witnessed the Championship.
One of our students, Eugene Selva, deserved a special mentioned. For his passion in participation, Eugene obtained a special award from Singapore Taekwondo Federation's President, Mr. Milan Kwee. To us that is what Team INDUK represents - Determination.
Principal Instructor Lee Seung Man had spent the whole month of June offering Team INDUK training and encouragement. At the after event dinner function on the 2nd July 2011 at INDUK's dojang, Mr. Lee congratulated all participants and promised an even better performance at next year's event.
